Jobing.com Arena is the home of the Phoenix Coyotes. It opened in 2003 as part of the Westgate City Center entertainment complex and was also the home of the former Arizona Sting of the National Lacrosse League. The Arizona Cardinals' University of Phoenix Stadium lies across the street.

Staples Center is the home arena of the Los Angeles Kings and is also home to the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks and the Pacific-12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament. It is also the former home of the AFL's Los Angeles Avengers and D-League's Los Angeles Defenders. Currently it is one of the busiest arenas in the country and became part of the surrounding LA Live entertainment complex in 2007.

The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum was built in 1921 and is the current home of the Pac-12's University of Southern California Trojans football team (and the largest stadium in the Pac-12) and the only stadium to host two different Summer Olympic Games (once in 1932 and again in 1984). It also hosted Super Bowls and World Series. In addition to hosting the Trojans, it has also been the home arena of the UCLA Bruins, Los Angeles Dons, Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Wolves, Los Angeles Aztecs, Los Angeles Raiders, Los Angeles Express, Los Angeles Xtreme and Los Angeles Dragons.

The Tampa Bay Times Forum is the home arena of the Tampa Bay Lightning, who moved in after several seasons at the Expo Hall and Tropicana Field. The arena also hosted the 1999 NHL All-Star Game and in 2012, it will host the NCAA's Frozen Four. In addition to the Lightning, it is currently the home arena of the Tampa Breeze of the Lingerie Football League and the Tampa Bay Storm of the Arena Football League. It was ranked the 4th busiest arena in the United States in 2010.

BankAtlantic Center is the home arena of the Florida Panthers in suburban Fort Lauderdale, as well as the home of the annual Orange Bowl Basketball Classic. It is currently the largest arena in Florida and second-largest in the southeastern United States, behind the Greensboro Coliseum. It hosted the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, as well as the 2003 NHL All-Star Game, when the first official NHL "shootout" occurred. It was also home to the Florida Pit Bulls of the American Basketball Association, the Florida Bobcats of the Arena Football League, the Florida ThunderCats of the National Professional Soccer League and the Miami Caliente of the Lingerie Football League.

Consol Energy Center is the home arena of the Pittsburgh Penguins, replacing the Civic Arena (just across the street) in 2010. It is the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certified arena in both the National Hockey League and Arena Football League; in the latter league, the arena is home to the Pittsburgh Power.

Rogers Arena is home to the Vancouver Canucks of the NHL, and was known as Canada Hockey Place during the 2010 Winter Olympics, in which it hosted many of the games including the gold medal game. It is also the former home of the NBA's Vancouver Grizzlies and the NLL's Vancouver Ravens.

Incheon's Munhak Stadium hosted games in the 2002 FIFA World Cup (which was joint hosted by Korea and Japan), when it was known as Incheon World Cup Stadium. It is currently home to Incheon United FC, a professional soccer team in the K-League.

Daejeon World Cup Stadium hosted some of the games of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. It can fit over 41,000 spectators and is currently home to the Daejeon Citizen of the K-League, a professional soccer league in South Korea.

Swangard Stadium is the home of the Vancouver Whitecaps before their debut in Major League Soccer (MLS) in 2010, when they moved to Empire Field; since the stadium did not meet MLS standards, plans were made to renovate the stadium but were dropped. Opened in 1969, it is currently home to Simon Fraser University's football team.

Nationwide Arena is the home of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Opened in 2000, it is also one of the three Columbus host venues for the annual Arnold Classic, a sports and bodybuilding event hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger. It is also the first NHL arena to have a separate practice facility contained within (which would later be emulated by the New Jersey Devils' Prudential Center). The arena's presence serves as the center of the city's entertainment area, the Arena District. The 2007 NHL Entry Draft took place in the arena, in which Patrick Kane was chosen first overall.
